ABOUT THE STORYTELLER IN RESIDENCE ROLE
An annual £45,000 fund to help one photojournalist tell ocean conservation stories that need to be told.
Are you an ocean photographer or filmmaker with a passion for storytelling? Are there untold conservation stories the world needs to hear? Are you the person to tell them?
Yes, yes, and yes? We want to hear from you! We want to empower you to tell the conservation stories close to your heart, to provide you with the means to bring them to life, to share them with the world.
Could SiR2024 be you? What stories will you tell?

Meet the panel
The Storyteller in Residence 2024 will be chosen by...
…key members of the Oceanographic, Arksen and 10% for the Ocean teams. Between them they have a wealth of ocean experience, a shared passion for storytelling and a committed desire to share important ocean stories with the world – and a deep understanding of the impact those stories can have.
